Thomas cheong is an artist and educator currently teaching in School of the Arts, Singapore. A graduate of Tainan National University of the Arts and LaSalle College of the Arts, he specializes in ceramics and mix-media installations.
He has participated in many international exchange and residency programs such as the International Ceramic Mentoring Camp in Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale, Korea, Sexse - Southeast Asia Exchange in Medelta, Canada and Artic-Clay residency program in Posio, Finland.He has also exhibited internationally and regionally and his works is in the collection of several public museums and corporate companies.
He is a recipient of Georgette Chen Arts Scholarship in 2000 and has received a silver award in a ceramics competition organized by Yingge Ceramics Museum in Taiwan.
